October 1 at the Kern River Valley Peddlers Fair at the Four Square Church Gym at 20 Panorama Street, Wofford Heights on the Corner of Oak and Sycamore behind Charley’s Market.

Desert–Mountain Resource Conservation & Development Council, Upper Kern River Watershed Coordinator are holding a Fall Native Plant Sale.
Plants are fire resistant, water efficient California natives. Order forms http://goo.gl/RZrXI, plant lists with photos and description are available at both, the Kernville and Kern River Valley Chambers of Commerce offices, Nuui Cunni Indian Cultural Center at French Gulch, and Watershed Coordinators office in the Assessor’s office at the Lake Isabella County Government Center and on line at www.krvr.org.

Orders are prepaid and must be received by September 12th.

Plants will be available for pickup at two locations, September 24th at Kern River Preserve Vulture Festival in Weldon and October 1st at the Kern River Valley Peddlers Fair in Wofford Heights at the Four Square Church Gym. Specify the preferred pickup site on the order form. Plants can be picked-up between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm on both days. Profits will support Watershed Coordinator preservation and restoration projects. For more information, contact Bob Robinson at 760-549-2131.
